The people at EquiQuest have almost 100 YEARS of combined horse experience in riding, wrangling, breeding, training and racing. Our love of horses is fundamental to our operation. We are also educators of children and adults with many years of teaching experience in the classroom as well as the round pen. This integrated experience with horses and people creates an effective, focused learning environment for equine assisted activities.
Kathy Lehnhoff, M.Ed. LPC

Kathy Lehnhoff, M.Ed., LPC, EAP is founder of EquiQuest. Kathy is an EAGALA advanced certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapist. She has worked in education and in the behavioral health field for over 30 years. Kathy is a Licensed professional Counselor who has experience working in private practice, residential treatment, program development, parent education and in Special Education as a teacher, liaison, and counselor. She is also a certified Trauma and Loss Specialist. Kathy is an approved continuing education provider for mental health professionals.
